KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER
Exchange between theory and practice
A central part of the work of the CES is the transfer of knowledge between the university and the church, between academic research and church or school work. A lively exchange with staff and volunteers from churches, schools and social welfare organizations enriches our research, and conversely we make research results fruitful for their practice.
CES scholars frequently give presentations in church synods and working groups, are involved in further training courses for full-time and volunteer workers and publish working papers and handouts for practical use. CES events facilitate exchange between practitioners, students and researchers.
